Hi guys,
I wanted to let you know that I received a call from the men’s leader for the spring Emmaus walk on Saturday. He asked me if I would be a table leader. I have never worked in the conference room, but he said they were desperate. I prayed about it a lot (and used things I learned from my Experiencing God study) and came to the conclusion that God wanted me there. So, I accepted the offer on Sunday.
Now, I need you guys to pray for me that I will be used by God to glorify Him and help out the men who will be assigned to my table. I am scared to be placed in this role, but trust God has a plan to use me. If it weren’t for my growth in Christ over the past year, I don’t think I would have seeked God’s will in this matter. Like Jay mentioned in the disciple series and was brought up again this Sunday, God uses ordinary people for extraordinary things. I am uncomfortable leading, but I can’t deny that I feel God wants me to do this.
